Dr. Kurtz has expertise in the additive manufacturing (3D printing) of medical devices, with an emphasis on orthopaedic, spine, and trauma implants. Spanning over 28 years, his professional career has involved the evaluation of medical device technologies, from a combined analytical, experimental, and clinical perspective. Dr. Kurtz is the Director of the Implant Research Core and part-time Research Professor at Drexel University's School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health Systems.

Hannah's research and professional work spans a variety of topics, from orthopaedic implant analysis to biomedical design and 3D printing for customized devices. She is also experienced in regulatory affairs, having completed a fellowship with the FDA's Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education where she worked with the Center for Devices and Radiological Health. Hannah also holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Cemile's main expertise lies in the mechanics and applications of biomedical 3D printing. She also specializes in the design and analysis of spinal devices. In addition to her research experience in point of care additive manufacturing at the University Hospital of Basel, she worked as a professional in regulatory proceedings for 3D printed medical implant applications. Cemile also holds her Certified Associate in Project Managment (CAPM) certification.

Mike is an expert in metallic biomaterials, retrieval analysis and corrosion. His research focuses on applying machine learning, corrosion testing, and elucidating fundamental structure-property relationships at clinically relevant spatial and temporal scales. He is also experienced in fractography and characterizing additively manufactured metallic biomaterials.
